Did I missed something? Last time, I tried exactly this, the eXplorist imported all gpx file on startup. No matter, where there were located.
Great, if this works now. B)

Well that's just about as perfect as it needs to be ! I don't think anyone would need to change anything if it's that easy to load a different PQ depending on their location. Good job Morel !

That's great Morel!
The timing is perfect, I'm driving to Florida from Massachusetts next week.
Instead of just caches with-in a mile or two of the highway I can have a file for each state I drive through on the card in the 710.
Much easier than using the laptop and GSAK every time I stop to play tourist.

Thanks Morel.

Creating your own file folder on the card works.

You can view an individual PQ or multiple depending on where you place files. You can do this with waypoints, geocaches, routes, tracks, media, etc. Place your individual PQ files on the SD card in a file folder that you do not need for other things, such as the "Custom POI" folder on the card (This folder would have been created if you formatted the card in the unit). The unit has no path to these files to display geocaches or other files as above. The other important thing is to make sure the "Geocache" folder on the internal memory is empty. Now you can use the "Import" feature on the unit to go find the file you want to move from the card to the internal. Only the PQ you moved will be shown in the cache list. You can bring in more PQ's or delete them all from the internal memory. They are still saved on the card where you placed them. This way you can view and use one PQ, delete it, import a different one, delete it, import the first one again........and so on.

I would assume you could also create your own folder on the card such as "PQ" and import from that. I just haven't tried it.

It's not that big of an issue for me. I have small kids so it would be nice to just load that particular pocket query. I can't remember if it was my EX600 or Triton 1500 I could do this on. Having distinct folders on the unit to pick from instead of the whole bunch. I know you can pick and choose particular parameters with regards to geocaches on the unit. Would just be nice to have that list to go by.

In regards to #4, how are you displaying the geocache list?
Set it for 'Nearest' and the caches nearest where you are will be displayed, any caches far away are lower on the list.

I routinely have over 4,000 caches loaded on my 710 and it's never a pain finding the cache I want.

With regards to 3). I know how to lock the screen. I am talking about the distinct "field screens" I want to just lock them. They get changed unfortunately when using the screen, like when you are geocaching and use the screen a lot.

1. agree
2. my 710 does so.
3. Are you asking for a screenlock? Look at the last option in "options" menu. But I'd like to have the screenlock on the turn-off screen
4.
5. agree, maybe, there are some resources.

Hopefully Magellan sees our ideas and suggestions. I love my 610 but some features i would like to be improved are below:

1) The smart arrow as others have suggested. I love the feature but it is somewhat large. Not saying to get rid of it just some more choices to choose from in the menu.

2) Unit recognizes when attached to power source such a vehicle charger. Have to change the power options so it does not shut down.

3) The field screens get changed very easily as I tap or move about the screen by my fingers. An option to lock them in would be great. Just annoying when you use bearing and heading to help locate a geocache and one has turned to depth.

4) Maybe it is possible but the option to load and chose separate geocache pocket queries. Just a pain when you are going for certain caches in one area and all the geocaches are lumped toIgether.

5) Not really bad on batteries but any upgrades to improve this would be great.

Any add-ons or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
