I'm almost afraid to ask Magellan's programmers for that. :blink:

I would rather have 'Child Waypoints' (parking & trailhead) be attached to the geocache they belong to instead of just in the waypoints file.
And I would like to project a waypoint from a point I'm not standing on.
And I would like to add waypoints to a multi cache & a puzzle cache.
And I would like it if they used the terminology from Geocaching.com.
And I would like every waypoint I enter, no matter how I enter it, show elevation.
And it would be nice if the photos I take would have the correct coordinates when transferred to VP.

I think it's time that whoever is making the final decisions of the programming team has actually used a handheld GPS receiver in the field.
Plus if they are going to have geocaching features then somebody on the programming team should be a geocacher or at least talk to a geocacher.

I see that GSAK somehow pulls the Geocaching.com user notes into it's display....anyone know if there is a setting (I didn't see it but then again...prolly was looking right at it...) that would DEFAULT include those notes?

I don't know if the 'Personal Cache Note' is included in the GPX file from GC.com.

But if you use GSAK you can add notes to a cache before you load it to the GPSr.

Double click on the note icon;

.
.
And you get this;

.
.
Create a note and save.
When I then loaded it to my GPSr I got this;

.
.
Or you could use 'Corrected Coordinates' on GSAK for a puzzle solution.
GSAK will send the corrected coords to the GPSr;

Since the change has been made on Geocaching.com quite a while back why not have a place to include the Notes section from the website??? Or maybe I'm missing something? I typically put final coords for multi's or puzzles in there and would be nice to have ON the 710!!!
