Thanks David - it is good to know that it is being worked on, but gosh you would think that Magellan could tell us poor colonials down under that it is not currently available for us. We just came back from a Mega event and were telling some of the sceptical Garmin users what a great program VP is and how you can get satellite images - now I feel like I was bullsh....g them!
btw - I live in Australia, that rabbit shaped big country south east of Indonesia, not Austria which is that tiny (in comparison) European country sandwiched between France, Germany and Italy 😉

Ok. I just got a reply from Richard at Magellan and he apologizes for this issue, but it is beyond his control and has to do with legalities. At the current time the login is only available through VP for the US Digital Globe; however, in the coming update to VP the software will be written to know which country the user is in and log them into the correct server in the correct country. I.e., an Austrian user will have to log into the Austrian Magellan Digital Globe server having an Austrian digital globe account in order to use the service. Please understand that a lot of this has to do with licensing and support partners – not that, that makes it any better for the user (You)!!! He could not give me a date as to when this will happen, but it is known and is being worked.
