Hello Emmanuel,
I presume there is an issue with the map datum. OZI map files only indicate the datum, but you will need OziExplorer to display the map-graphic correctly.
TritonRMP can only handle WGS84 / LatLon projected graphics.
The only ad-hoc solution I see, is to reproject the *.map calibrated files with GlobalMapper to WGS84 and then convert them to RMP. GlobalMapper is expensive. There is the freeware tools GDAL which also could do the job.

Hi Everybody,
I am a new owner of an Explorist 610 and I am now trying to make my own RMP maps. I have made my own maps using MOBAC and I am now trying to import french IGN (hiking 1/25000) maps on my explorist. A couple of years ago I bought the numerized version on CD. I managed to convert these maps in calibrated maps (.MAP) that I can open using OziExplorer. I checked that the calibration is OK (If I import a waypoint from VP to OziExplorer, the position is correct). Then I convert these maps in RMP format using TritonRMP. When I open the resulting RMP maps in VP or on my 610 (after correction by RMP Tools, thanks Sockeye) I can see that there is a large shift (more than 100 meters) between the new map and the other maps of the same area I already have. I think this shift is due to TritonRMP which does not display the map correctly (my house is not at the same coordinate in TritonRMP than in VP). I could recalibrate manually the maps but it is tedious. I was wondering whether any of you has experienced the same problem with TritonRMP and could suggest how to fix it.
Thank you for your help and for this forum which has been very helpful.
Emmanuel
