Well lookie here, go get 'em folks, they're out there! Thanks for the tip! Now the next question is, will other stores follow suit, or will this one be the only one to let the product out early?

Woohoo! I've been quoted! 😀 In the process of trying it out right now and we plan on going caching bright and early. I was very surprised to see that Target had the Explorist GC because 1. before the electronics reset they didn't have handheld gps and 2. it's not suppose to be out yet 🙂

Not sure how much truth there is in this, but it looks like Target plans on selling the GC. Nothing on their website, but this guy seems to have some info...

eXploristGC is announced for April in Europe.

This will be in shops in the u.s. available starting april 5th, so in two weeks.
For some european countries, there is no plan for selling it.
