Brent,

I will ask about the MAC Compatibility for the other updates and I will let you know what I find out...

First, forgive me if my searches did not uncover this being discussed previously in light of some recent events. Second, as with the Triton forum, you guys and gals are great! Thanks for all of your help over the years! Here goes:

In light of some rumors about Mac compatibility I've heard, I wonder if any gurus with ears to Maggie's doors know if there is a Mac-compatible upgrade coming for the GC.

Second, as I was completing the GC owner's survey (and praying to get my hands on a 310! :cheer: ) the thought occurred to me to ask if the GC might be getting a little more detail in terms of topo features for its basemap. I understand that this is probably a minor issue for most geocachers, but as a veteran Triton owner--one who has used both raster maps and NG TOPO on my Triton, I am a little spoiled by having a bit more in terms of topo features.

[Yes, I know that the 610 and 710 would fulfill my dreams and desires. Believe me: I drool when fondly looking over their specs! However, I am a lowly teacher who is paid as such--three years since my last cost of living raise--and thus the 610/710 dream is a several year plan in my universe, even with customer loyalty incentives. 🙁 Some day I hope to get one, though, since I run a summer camp that introduces kids to geocaching and backwoods navigation, and obviously a 610 or 710 would be an amazing tool to have. But for now, I think my wife and kids would prefer eating! 😛 ]
