It's not easy getting a shot of these but here's one comparing my 710 and GC .

The screen shots look bigger than they actually are for the GC.
The GC screen is too small and the font size is too small for me to read easily.
Believe me, the 710 is very much easier to read than the GC.

And here's the GC against my computer screen;

When in trouble or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout

You can only edit a waypoint that you put in.
To edit a waypoint, highlight & press on the waypoint name - then press on 'Location' - then press the 'Menu' button - then press on 'Edit':

Okay...but, how do you edit coordinates for a waypoint?

I tried reading the on line manual,...but not grasping it. :S

Thanks, David. Makes sense, I suppose they could do that on a firmware upgrade.

You will have to enter it as a waypoint, not as a Geocache...

Speaking of which, it appears you can only edit the coordinates of a Waypoint, but not a Geocache? I'd often over the years just edit the coordinates of the multi-cache I was looking for in my Garmin unit. I'm not like some of my Geo-Pals who save all waypoints for a GSAK database or anything.

Thanks! I guess I was trying to enter a waypoint while on the wrong screen. Just incase anyone else has this problem you can only do this from the waypoints menu while you are viewing the list of waypoints. I was going straight to the map screen and trying to do it.
