Go to "Access your field notes" and you will see a list of them.
Click on "compose log" to log the find, then they will be on your profile.

Thanks guys. I think I did it. They do not show up in my profile but I get the following message and I do see them in the field notes page.

"You currently have pending field notes. Visit your field notes page to review these notes."

Will they eventually show up as finds on my profile?

Oh yeah, welcome to the forum, welcome to using the Magellan GC and welcome to Geocaching, you are going to love this hobby/game/addiction!

Any questions you have, don't be afraid to ask on this forum.

Go to your profile on GC.com, the page that lists your finds.
Scroll down and look on the right side of the page for 'Field notes'.
Click on 'Access your field notes'.
Scroll down on that page to the magellan section, it looks like this;

Magellan - eXplorist GPS Receivers
While Geocaching with the Magellan eXplorist GC, 510, 610, or 710 you can upload your geocache finds directly from the device once you return back from your day geocaching. Click here to upload Field Notes from your Magellan eXplorist GPS Receiver.

Click on the link - Click here to upload Field Notes from your Magellan eXplorist GPS Receiver.
That will bring this up;

To upload Field Notes from your Magellan eXplorist GPS Receiver:

1. Plug your eXplorist device into your computer with a USB cable and click "Connect to PC".
2. Click "Choose File" on this web page and go to the MAGELLAN drive on your computer.
3. Open the Geocaches folder and select the file named "newlogs.txt" or "logs.txt". Click "Open".
4. Click "Upload Field Note" on this page to upload your Field Notes.
5. We recommend that you delete the "newlogs.txt" or "logs.txt" file on your device once your Field Notes have been successfully uploaded.

On my computer it says "Browse" instead of "Choose File"
That will upload your field notes.
Then on the 'Access your field notes' page your field notes will be listed with dates and time stamps for each cache you found, you log them from that list.
It's easy once you do it a couple of times.

Absolutely you can push these to GC.com. Everytime you mark a cache as found and enter comments for the find it is entered in the log.txt file that is stored in the Geocaching directory on the unit. When you get home you have two options. The first option is to connect your GC to your computer and then open VP and it will ask you if you want to log the caches. If you don't want to bother with VP just open Geocaching.com and goto "Your Profile" and then goto "Access Your Field Notes" and it will give you the instructions. When you have to select the file make sure you GC is connected to your computer and then go to the Geocaching directory on the unit and select the "log" file. This will upload the information within the file to your Field Notes on GC.com and then you can go to your field notes and finish the logging process.

Ok, very much a newbie here so bear with me. I just found my first caches this weekend and logged them on my GC as found. Is there a way to "push" these to the Geocaching.com website or do I need to do it manually?
