Yeah, it's a little strange but I don't worry about it, that's only a foot or two at most and the accuracy of any GPSr is 15 feet anyway.

When in trouble or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout

Funnily enough we have a 610 and have noticed that it seems to round the final numbers??? We have it at Deg, min, decimin but if you enter 613 it often rounds it to 614???. This happens regularly but as yet have no idea of how to fix it.

For Geocaching, you schould set the unit to Degree, min, decimal min.

Otherwise, you are some way off.

I have recently become a maggie owner --The explorist 610 appears to have many great features but one important one seem a bit unusual to me--I have the unit set on degrees minutes and seconds and the strange thing is it only shows only one decimal point--does this mean my locations are not as accurate as the garmin units for example? I seem to be able to locate caches but I am concerned as to placing new ones--any help out there? thanks twisty
