Any issues with waypoint projection?

The best way to get accurate projections is to shut off the 'GPS' and set coordinates manually, then go to 'Project Waypoint'- that way you know exactly where you are projecting from.

I have been using an app on my iPhone to do projections in the field, I input starting coords, distance and bearing to get the new coords.
Then I create a new waypoint on my GPSr.
I will average a waypoint on the GPSr to get an accurate point where I'm standing if I have to project from a spot in the field.
The app is 'Geocaching Toolkit'

BTW, I use my method on the phone when I'm using the GC or my 710.

I have had no problems with waypoint projections on the GC
It's been a while since I used it so I just did a few.
The only variations were caused by satellite reception/accuracy.
I created 3 points 300, 600 and 900 feet away;

Are there any issues with the waypoint projection on the eXplorist GC? Is it "spot on" or 200 feet away?
Just wondering, because I've seen a complain about such a issue in a geocaching forum. The user claims to have all settings correct and everytime, he is doing a waypoint projection, the GC is calculating a point about 200 or more feet away from the right position.
Any input appreciated.
