Actually, they never show 2 Ws at the same time (that is, in my experience). The display flips between them. This was discussed on the tritonforum board, and folks seem to think that the unit will only pick up the best WAAS signal of those available.

Thanks for the feedback, rswhitmarsh.
I guess that means that the X10's show two W's at the same time, like on the older units.
Good that Maggie was looking ahead, and planned on possible WAAS Sat changes, and locking on 46 after searching. I have some units that will search for a WAAS Sat for several min, then start a search from 33 on up to what they find. To 46 sometimes takes a while. My Meridian just keeps on searching for 48,
after a 30 min trial. Guess the older units will need a revirsion or a hack. Like they say, 2007 all over again.

my 710 picked up WAAS#46 today, as well as #51

what was surprising is that #47 also flashed on in the west a couple of times, and this reportedly ceased WAAS transmission

With WAAS 48 no longer broadcasting, how are the X10's reacting? Do they keep on searching for 48, or just grab 46 in place of it?
