I think none of sent me in support of Magellan's proposals in this version were not included.

Maybe someone from the testers will check this?

1. Management screens in the eXplorist 310 and GC borrowed from devices with touchscreen. Touch screens can switch to any screen in the main menu with two clicks. In 310 to select the desired screen requires long-term manipulation of the joystick.
It is proposed to use in the main menu, press "Zoom +" to switch to the map screen, press "Zoom-" to switch to the dashboard.
In the dashboard press "Zoom +" to switch to the next dashboard, "Zoom-" to the previous dashboard.
This is simply implemented in the program, but very strongly accelerate the use of the device.

2. It should be added to the list of functions called by the long Enter (long press on the joystick) "Show Compass (On / Off)" and "Search Nearby".
These functions are often used.

3. The function "Search Nearby" is used very often with the same parameters. Selecting objects to the search should be kept from previous use.
To press Ok need to scroll the entire list. It is necessary to set the focus to a button or switch to provide it through the list (joystick up).
It is possible to find any object in the three manipulation joystick.

4. Found a great trouble in the eXplorist 310:
Running or Active Suspend Timer or the Power Off Timer.
That is, if the device is switched to the energy saving mode (Suspend), then Power Off Timer does not already work, and the device to eat all the batteries.
The device is successfully activated in a bag or backpack. As a result, I regularly find myself discharged batteries.
Off power on Power Off Timer should work in a mode of Susupend.

5.Triton may have been off and on without a reboot. It was very good, but in eXplorist 310 is not.
Inscribed in the documentation (eXplorist310_UM_EU_EN.pdf) mode Sleep, you can not turn on. It is activated when the alarm clock. No alarm clock in the settings eX 310.

6. Connect eXplorist to the computer organized awkward and illogical. Irritating to asking the question about the type of Connection of each connecting cable, especially in the case of Power Only.
It should be added to the configuration of "Connectivity" one more option "Ask me when connecting". Ask only in this case. In other cases, connect to the selected mode, no questions asked.
NMEA mode to make a separate item in the connection settings (NMEA On/Off). He may or may not operate in Power Only.

7. It is very unfortunate that "Suspend Timer" and "Power Off Tomer" work in Power Only mode. It should not be. In the presence of an external power supply light and the device must not shut down.

All this you can check on their navigators.

Perhaps all of my suggestions are trifles. However, a good instrument consists of a handy little things, not of beautiful ribbons and candy wrappers.
