I have not seen any difference in anything with the 5.53 firmware, except possibly the Fishing Hot Spots support.

So if you already have version 6.51 from several days ago, is there any point in re-downloading the latest?

It is basically an update to support the new touch screen and camera hardware that is being used in these newer units. The suppliers for the present screens and camera has discontinued production of them so they had to be updated.

Can anyone say what this new OS & Drivers thing is ? Drivers is fine, but OS ? What could be different, other than the new screens previously mentioned ?
