Ok guys i tried a few ways that i was told and the best way is to copy and paste in between the two locations the (J: gps) and ( I:sd card). the transfer was done in a blink of an eye.And this way you can check your files in both locations. 🙂 And Findley with the VT exchange button it will ask you what kind of file you want to transfer, but it does not ask you from which memory sd or internal memory.
So thanks for the help i am starting to like that green beast 610 Canada.

Maybe I am missing something, but the Exchange buttons in Vantage Point can be used to export or import any file. The file dialog may be used to identify the location of the file which can be on the SD card or the internal X10 memory.

Or there is a third option. I drag and drop files from my sd card right into Vantage Point application.

You do not have to remove the card.
When you plug the GPSr into the computer you will have two removable disks showing on the computer.
On mine they show as 'Removable Disk (E)' and 'Removable Disk (F)'
Disk E is the internal memory of the GPSr and Disk F is the sd card.
I will just copy and paste any file on the card to 'My Documents' on my computer, then import that file to Vantage Point.

Or you could move the file from disk F to the internal memory (Disk E) then Vantage Point will see it in the GPSr memory.

Either way it's already in a format that Vantage Point and the GPSr use.

ok to send file from the computer to the sd card ,I guess you have the take the sd card out of the gps and put the card in a reader writer slot. When you save this files on your pc do you use a special file format so the saved files can be read by the gps later.

No, Vantage Point does not access the SD card.
I move my files from the SD card to my computer and then to Vantage Point.
From Vantage Point I'll export files to the computer and then to the SD card.
It only takes a few extra minutes.

😉 Hi every one
I would like to know if some one was able to transfer files like tracks way point routes to the Sd card from Vintage
to the gps 610 or manage any kind of files.I did not find any ways to access the sd card from vintage. Because the Explorist 600 series it was possible.Vintage lets me access only to the interior memories.
