Yup, a good start for sure ! I've discovered that the cache icon matches the type your goto is set to as well. It's that "0" that bugs me most ....
That "0" bothers me too.
On the dashboard of my GC it shows 27
I have 27 life time found caches on it.
I don't have any life time found caches on my 710.
Maybe that's what it shows?

wow! it would seem that magellan has made some improvements over the 510-610-710. i have a 310 and i have 8 options plus the compass. easy to change each of them.
You should also have the option of how many fields to display.

Ok, I have to ask as I haven't figured it out yet. I'm trying to figure out some of the non-changeable display items on the Dashboard screen. I've tried 2 goto's and get 2 different display variances on the dashboard.
The first one shows a Geocache Goto. You see the Compass, then immediately to the right, the GC container icon, then 4 bubbles with nothing in them. Below the GC container, there's a larger bubble with a "0" in it, and to its right is the distance to destination.
What are the 4 empty bubbles for, and what does the "0" indicate ?
The 2nd image is a Route goto, with 80 or so points. This one shows the same "0", and no distance shown in the right-hand bubble. The owner's manual doesn't explain these displays at all.
Anyone have a good description for these things ?
