I stand corrected on VP only having a few coordinate systems to choose from. I had assumed the "select" button was an "ok" button, but rather clicking it brings up the option for choosing more systems.

VP does seem reasonably powerful but everything seems to be hidden or tucked away in slightly less than intuitive (to me) places!

If you open the GPX file in GPSU ( you can view the coordinates as OSGB then copy/paste them to your spreadsheet

I'm just wondering if there are any alternatives to the VP software out there?

I'm finding VPs settings a bit limiting, and quite frustrating when the 710 can handle so many different coordinate systems and datums, yet VP only offers a couple of options. I particularly need a quick and easy way to export coordinates in British National Grid format.

The method I've just come up with can't be the best option, which involves using VP to export the waypoints I want (frustrating you can't quickly shift-click to select a group) as a .gpx...then use DNRGPS to export the waypoints either as an ArcMap Shape file, or a comma delimited text file so I can then import the points into a spreadsheet.
