My main and over-ruling issue at the moment is the power indicator problem and not allowing the GPSr to shut down due to the batteries going flat. All the other problems are secondary operational issues that I can deal with.

That's what I mean by disappointed, Magellan won't give out estimated time tables of when a specific fix will be released.

If they do at least half of the people getting that notification will be disappointed that the fix they want isn't being addressed.

As an example, I personally don't care if they ever make the arrow adjustable sized, I like it the way it is now!
I would rather see child waypoints (parking & trailhead) be accessed on the geocache page instead of the waypoints list.

I'm sure Peter and Graham would like to see the power adapters they have work properly or the driving directions work right.

Pick the user and they will probably have a fix they think is more important than what you or I think is important.

Phil, I agree. This Version is definitely still not completed and ready for prime time.

Maybe, David Carr can check to see when the version will officially be introduced and if the long awaited smaller direction arrow will be included.

I am sure that this version is not completed. As I mentioned the Fonts for the various Settings are not standardized. I know that this is "ginger breading" but it is also a good sign that this was accidentally released.

That is why I was asked to return it. Back it goes tomorrow.

I did notice the same old arrow choices. NO small arrow.

Huh, not a good news.
I sincerely hopes this is not a final version ...

When entering your name and phonenumber in the eX110, these data are shown in the startup-cycle. As well here?

SIG, too technical for me. What exactly is the test?

I am willing to test out a function but you must give me the steps to do the testing.

Then I can report back to you.

Hello SIG, I am a novice so if there is anything new, I probably would not notice it.

Do you have any specific questions? I will not be returning it until Thursday. I did notice the same old arrow choices. NO small arrow.

There looked like there were many more datum choices. I use UTM and there was a bug in that I could not set it for WGS84 .. only something called WGS75 and I know that this is not correct.

Many of the fonts were different in the menu.

This is definitely an uncompleted version and accidentally was shipped loaded into the 610.

So this taste of the new version did not make me want it.

Just received my new 610 from "you know who". It has a Version 7.02 loaded into it. Very interesting. 🙂

The bad news is that I have to return it. 🙁

Just thought all would like to know that there is a NEW VERSION.
