I also had this once. Even after deleting all the gpx files in the tracks folder, the bad tracks were there.

The solution was to delete ugds.bin, active track (active.trk?) file and all the gpx in the tracks folder.

Soleful,  The internal memory of the 610 has a folder named "Tracks".

Open the .gpx file and look for the file you wish to delete and remove it.

Hello to all you Magellan Explorist lovers and experts out there. My 610 somehow acquired these corrupt files, and i cannot do anything with them. I prefere not to reformat, because they exist on my internal memory.

Seems like i saw a post in the old forum once but cannot locate a solution. The flles look like this:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa with a funny symbol on top. apologies, I do not know how to post an image here or how to make the funny ~ (tilde) symbol on top of the "a".
