Thanks for your replies.

When you click on 'tracks' on the homescreen it gives you the option to hide track. I click this yet my track still shows when geocaching.

My logs.txt file on my Mag GC, when deleted, stays deleted. It doesn't on the 710. ALL the logs reappear. I do use the tick box on gc.com but it's not good all the time, particularly when I've logged a field note from my iphone and that cocks up the 'hide before this date'.

OOPS, I posted the wrong screenshot. Sorry. Embarassed

It can be a little confusing the way Magellan set it up, but play with it a few times.

THIS is what 'Options' should look like to hide all tracks;

Ok, I'll try;

#1 - I have never had that happen to my 710 in 3 years, so I don't know what to tell you.

#2 - The arrow size has been an issue since day one, if you zoom in on the map it won't cover as much of the map.

#3 - This is what the 'Options' under 'Tracks' on the 710 should look like to hide all tracks;

#4 - First, where does it reappear?

If you go here on the 710 and delete it it's gone.

When you restart the 710 it will generate a new logstxt file;

On Geocaching.com, when you access your field notes check the 'Ignore Logs before' box;

1) Sometimes when I go to add a waypoint it won't let me input numbers after I reach the change number screen. All it shows me is the coords at the top of the screen with no digit pad underneath. I have to restart the unit to get it to appear.

2)The arrow is HUGE!!

3) If I select 'hide track' it still appears.

4)My biggest bugbear. No matter how many times I delete my 'found logs.txt' in my geocache folder, even if I edit it in word and trash it. It still reappears with every flippin cache I have ever found. Grrr

Can anyone offer me some sanity?
