The 310 has still initial release software, right? I have heard about some issues in the german forum as well. Some of them seem to be really annoying.

That's pretty much why I began the post by saying they were in the password protected mode and that my post to supply information. Knowing its about to arrive can be encouraging.

Also, they have now changed it to say eXplorist GC both places, no reference to the 310 anymore. Hoping they do one that really is for the 310 soon though, mine has some issues.

The fact that they have not advertised an update elsewhere on their site is nothing new, that's how they've been doing it for years.

I wasn't commenting on your post or advising people to not look at the links you posted, I was just pointing out that those updates, needing a password, were no longer available at that time on Magellan's web site, just like before.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood my intention.

This is another shining example that idiots are running Maggie's web page.

The update is for the 310 not the Gc.
The update, like before requires a password.
That will turn out to be a mistake, like before.
And of course there are no new updates at all if you go Magellan.com now, at 8:00 pm Boston, MA time.
Don't just click the links given by allory, go to Magellan's page and it ain't there, just like before!

And what's the difference how it's numbered?

If you really want to get confused. read this Wikipedia article about software numbering, Software Versioning . Apparently software developers have a lot of options in numbering their new releases.

Your'e absolutely right. But what looks "bigger" 1.7 or 1.10? OK, 1.10 even looks bigger, but would you number your software this way?...

Could please somebody help me outta this? :S

But in the software numbering scheme of things 1.10 is bigger than 1.7, tenth revision of version 1 as opposed to seventh revision.

Wasn't the GC on SW 1.7??? So I guess, this is for the 310.

Seems like GC is at 1.07 and the 310 is at 1.08, so no hints there.

Maybe someone with a password will let us know.
