SearchDaddy,  This requires a tricky answer.  Providing that the maps are .imi and not larger in RAM size then that available in the 310 then YES .. BUT the maps must not have a serial number that is matched the 400 as these will not work.

Maps designed by Sockeye on maps4me.net have no serial number and will work.

Will the maps that I have on an SD card in my dead Triton 400 work in the Explorist 310?

They are imi's.
