Thanks for the tip. I changed to north up in map options and could zoom in without any problems. I also like having track up, so I'll have to remember to change when in pan mode.

When you are zoomed way out the map will show north up.
When you zoom in it will revert to whatever it set at, track up, route up etc.

To avoid this set map options to north up.

I like having it set to track up myself.

I also experience that, map rotate by approx. 90 degs at certain scale while zoomimg into the map.

I have an Exp 610 with V3.22. I was using pan mode to view some areas a distance away from my current position, so I had zoomed out to the 500 mile scale. When zooming in on the selected area everything was normal up until the 40 mile scale. When zooming from the 80 to 40 mile scale, the north arrow in the display corner rotates about 150 degs and the map image seemed to invert top to bottom and side to side. Has anbody else seen this? I have to admit I'm still learning how to use my new toy, so maybe it's some option I have setup by accident.
